The Arrow of Light ceremony is also be included as the 5th graders cross over to a troop. Sometimes community leaders or special guests are invited to attend.
Our Blue & Gold Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Plano American Legion.

The Potawatomi District Pinewood Derby is an opportunity for Cub Scouts to race against other units in the surrounding communities. This year, Pack 317 Plano and Pack 350 Yorkville will be jointly running the derby race for the entire district!

Camp Rokilio provides a GREAT OUTDOOR ADVENTURE for Cub Scouts (entering 1st through 5th grade in the fall of 2022) and their parents and leaders on 213 beautiful acres of hilly terrain with tall timber located in the Kettle Moraine, seven miles east of Kiel, Wisconsin!
Camp Rokilio consists of a 3-day/2-night stay in one of the camp’s four themed buildings, which includes the Fort J.J. Keller, Gunderson Viking Bäten Ship, Kohler Castle, and Oertle Train Station. The buildings' amenities include electricity, water, flush toilets, showers, kitchen, and living quarters with beds for both adults and youth. Camp Rokilio provides an introduction to camping in a very comfortable and stylistic way!
As a Cub Scout becomes accustomed to the out-of-doors with their Den, they unconsciously absorb some of the greatness of nature itself — the quiet of the forest, the cheerfulness of a running stream, the breadth of a body of water, the openness of the sky, the freshness of the wind, the curiousness of a bog with insect eating plants, and the beauty of a sunset.
By spending time outdoors, they learn some of the skills, resourcefulness, and self-reliance of the pioneers. The woods, the streams, the trails, and the wild creatures that inhabit them become friends, and the out-of-doors becomes a lifelong source of recreation.
Camping is an opportunity for the continuation of Cub Scouting throughout the summer! The camp program is designed to meet the needs and interests of Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and parents; therefore, preparation for adventure belt loops and activity pins are continuous and consistent with the program in the Pack.
All of Scouting is an educational program, and since education consists primarily of determining the individual’s learning needs and proceeding to satisfy those needs, the Camp Rokilio program is designed to promote a meaningful and educational experience. The program consists of 3 days of waterfront, shooting sports (BB Guns/Archery), Nature, Campfires, Chapel, theme related projects and activities, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities, and NOVA awards.
Cub Scouts and their parents, grandparents and leaders can choose a session that fits into their schedule. All Cub Scouts are required to attend resident camp with a parent for the entire duration of camp. We will attend Camp Rokilio from June 27-29, 2022.
Three Fires Council's Wild West Day Camp is at the Yorkville American Legion is from July 25-29, 2022. This is the closest location to our pack. Day Camp is an activity-based adventure for your Scout (and siblings) to enjoy. The emphasis is NOT on advancements, but on having fun and fellowship with your fellow Cub Scouts. Day Camp is recommended for Tigers, Wolves, and Bears. Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts should consider Summer Resident Camp instead.
